A wonderful game, Nightmare of Druaga. You play as Gil, a prince who kicks ass and takes names in dungeons. Agonizingly long dungeons that seem to go on forever. If you die in said dungeon, you lose ALL items that are not “blessed”.

Needless to say I would reset alot to gain my items back. Ishtar here doesn’t like that though, and reprimands you like Resetti in Animal Crossing. The more you reset, the more questions she asks you, and if you get them wrong she starts her lecture over again.

I decided to draw a very tired Gil who had just traversed a dungeon for hours and refused to lose all his items. In your face, Resetti.

Planning on doing a bit more traditional stuff at this point in time. I dunno, with this digital bonanza I have forgotten how fun and easy it is to paint. It’s the main problem I have with digital coloring–it’s hard to not be able to mix colors, really hard.

I was going to get Painter X, but after reading several online reviews I decided not to. It seems like a gigantic waste of money, with all the bugs and incessant brush lag. I was going to get Art Rage instead, but the interface seems so clumsy to me, so eh.

X bought me a pony!

Ahahahahaha. It was on clearance at the store. It inspired me to drag out my pencils for some reason. I spent days just coloring the god damned flowers.

I hate grass.

I sketched a hippogryph lastnight while half asleep. It eventually turned into this griffin since X thought it was one. Yeah.

This is revenge for the Discovery Channel putting red feathers all over a large raptor species in one of their specials. They looked horrendous and rather stupid, and I am against the idea of any large raptors having a full “coat” of feathers…since that doesn’t make evolutionary sense anyway.
