Simply put, a Cyberdemon. Totally killing you with a rocket. Because they are really, really fast and you didn’t even know he was coming up behind you. Now you’re dead, a pity. Restart with only the pistol!

This is actually based on the Doom 64 Cyberdemon, my personal favorite design.

    Ah, the joys of Doom, where your main method of detecting an enemy is taking a hit or two while you realize they’re there and locate, THEN they decide to make their telltale sounds of whatever after they’ve already put a bullet/fireball/rocket in your ass. Ah well, being murdered countless times is clearly the standard way of learning something.

    Life goes on, but not for long. Poor Doomguy, for the years his fate had lied in the hands of an unexperienced child.
