Art is essentially Hollow’s life. Aspiring to make artwork on the side for a company, any company someday (haha not in a million years) Hollow also speaks in the third person.

FAQ

• Would you draw my character/this videogame guy/my cat?
  • I don’t do requests at all, ever.

• That means you do trades right, yay! Here let me open MSpaint–
  • No, I don’t do trades either, unless you approach me and ask if I’m available for trades. If I say yes, you MUST draw AND COMPLETE your side FIRST. Only after it’s received will I even begin to start my side. I have been burned many times in the past. Sometimes if you’re on DA or such offering art trades, I’ll sign up and draw for you first if I’m feeling generous and ask for nothing in return. It’s my non-sneaky way of giving gift art. I’m eccentric what can I say?

• What is that thing in your banners?
  • It’s the site’s mascot, a male blue fawn.

    
    Created in 2002 for my best friend Necro, he represents him in a much shorter, bluer, furrier form. He’s nameless at the moment so I just refer to him as “that deer”. Yes, his legs end in sharp points and his head is oversized, that’s just the way he’s drawn. I thought he went well with the site’s original Snowberry theme.

• So, why does “that deer” look different in all the banners?
  • Because it’s an art site. I am just being boring and creative, and mixing it up. It’s all the same character though, just drawn differently.

• Why are your commissions so expensive? I really want a..
  • Are you three years old? Honestly I have some of the lowest commission prices I’ve seen, and for the amount of work I put into them you’re getting quite the deal.

• Why are your commission prices so LOW?
  • Not many commission me, it’s supply and demand of course. I’m keeping the prices like this until I get more than one commission every month or whatever.

• Why the different themes?
  • I love snowflakes, hence the Snowberry theme, and the title of the site; “The Snowglobe”. I quite enjoy Persona 2 (not any of the others though…) and the idea of the Demon Artist, so The Velvet Room theme was made. And naturally, I couldn’t forget my favorite videogame character in history, Lord Bowser Koopa, so he has a theme of his own as well. They were all made by X Prime and myself.

• What is this “wifey”…?
  • Started as a joke, wifey is the character of Megaman X Prime..(who yes, is male and is based on X of the Megaman X series)..just in a dress. A friend of ours, Dustin, was in IRC chat with us and doing some kind of mock RPing with Warhammer related jargon. I ended up being married or something to X Prime/Tallgeese, and Dustin said that he “should be the wife” because he would be bound to doing “all the bending over”. He was correct in this of course, and Tallgeese suggested I draw X Prime in a dress, with the added bonus of him “using it as his board theme”. He hasn’t changed since. <3
